TAGUIG, Philippines - REZA Amirkhizan provided the heroic free kick deep in extra time as Pachanga Diliman FC outlasted former defending champions Philippine Air Force FC 3-2 in the last semifinals game of the United Football League Cup at the Emperador Stadium Tuesday evening.

Air Force main man Ian Araneta slammed his signature flying header in the 25th minute to open the scoreline before Pachanga forward Nate Burkey converted at the penalty area in the 29th minute to put the squads back in equal footing before halftime.

Pachanga captain Ariel Zerrudo opened the first minute of extra time after a scoreless second half with a short counter offensive against three Air Force defenders as his shot slipped past Air Force keeper Ken Dolloso for the go ahead goal.

Air Force veteran Jezurel Tonog took advantage of a failed clearance from the Pachanga backline with a right volley to tie up the game again in the 95th minute before Amirkhizan's 112th minute goal sealed the game for Pachanga.

Leading Golden Boot candidate Phil Younghusband scored a pair of goals in the 14th and 58th minute as Loyola Meralco Sparks FC defeated Green Archers United FC 2-nil in the first game to complete its return to the Cup Finals. JJB
