Córdoba CF will clash against mighty FC Barcelona this wednesday for Copa del Rey Round of 16 match. Fil-Spanish Javier Patino striker of Córdoba CF will get a chance to play against one of the best team in history.
Patiño was born in Madrid to a Filipina mother. In 2012 he was reported to be applying for citizenship of the Philippines, to open the possibility of playing international football for that country
Patiño played his first four seasons as a senior in amateur football, representing local sides Alcobendas CF and UD San Sebastián de los Reyes. In the 2011 summer he moved straight to the second division, signing a three-year contract with Córdoba CF.
In his first season with the Andalusians Patiño scored eight goals in 35 games, notably netting the games' only against SD Huesca (away), UD Las Palmas (home) and Recreativo de Huelva (away). Source: wikipedia
