Defending champion Ceres Football Club and last conference runner-up Dynamic Builders FC remain on top in the ongoing 2nd Conference of the North Football League played at the Ayala North football pitch in Talisay City.
Many times “golden boot” awardee Ali Rojas Go scored five goals to lead Dynamic Builders’ 11-nil blast over Silver Dragon. Go had three goals in the first half, including the opening score in the 11th minute.
Ziggy Tonog then sent Dynamics’ second goal in the 22nd minute before Go nailed two consecutive goals in the 26th and 28th minutes of the match, respectively, as Luigi Hilado closing the break with his share in the 33rd minute.
With 4-nil lead towards the second half, the Builders came out more aggressive as they stunned Silver Dragons’ defense with six more goals.
Two minutes after the whistle blew to start the second half, Tonog dashed himself inside Silver Dragons’ defense for two consecutive goals in the 42nd and 43rd minutes as Go added two more goals in the 65th and 71st minutes.
Though leading by 9-nil, with thirteen minutes left in the game, but Dynamic was not yet done as Ian Treyes and Dominique Segaya joined the scoring spree with their respective goals in the 77th and 80th minute of the match.
On the other hand, well-distributed offensive attacks from Ceres made it difficult for the Real Negrense FC back four to stop the former’s scoring as they gave in six goals to nothing.
After missing two games due to injury, Eliseo Palomo took Ceres’ first goal in the early 12th minute of play as Garreth Parcon nailed two consecutive goals in the 23rd and 27th minutes and Aaron Amantilio ending the half with his goal in the 40th minute to put his team on top at the break, 4-nil.
Real had made several goal tries in the second half but all were unsuccessful while Ceres’ Ricardo Garcia and Arvin Villaruel scored two more in 52nd and 76th minutes. Not like Dynamic and Ceres, Trimaxi-Agro FC was challenged by the winless Las Buenas FC after the latter club forced both teams scoreless at the half.
In the resumption of the game, LBFC P. Nene scored the match’s first goal that almost scared Trimaxi for 17 minutes before Bes dela Noche finally sent in latter’s goal in the 63rd minute.
It was FJ Serios sealing a win for Triamxi after nailing another one in the 79th minute./WDJ
